- Division K is holding a Workshop on “Parliamentary Procedures in Action” at Bahrain Society of Engineers Friday October 17, 2008, 9:00 am to 11:15 am. To register contact DTM ALEX GINETE 36705956.
- Encouraged all members to take part in the club table topics contest to be held on Monday October 27, 2008.
- Monday November 10, 2008 is the club humorous speech and evaluation contests.
6. President:
- Commended the efforts of the sergeant at arms in setting up the meeting room with perfect arrangements.
- VP membership was praised as the club won the Smedley Award for this term.
- Reemphasized the treasurer call for the members to pay their fees on time.
- Encouraged members to participate in the club contests.
- Wednesday October 22, 2008 is the toastmasters’ day anniversary and on this occasion area 15, under the initiative of Area 15 Governor, TM Victoria Cacayan is organizing joint meeting of the three clubs in the area. The venue is Gulf Gate Hotel; Manama. Time: 7:15 PM. There will be 4 contests on that day so we need 4 participants, one each for the 4 contests, to represent our club.
