Speeches and Reports:

President ACG/CL Khalid Al Qoud: Welcomed the guests, and gave an inspirational speech about his toastmasters’ journey starting with the induction day until the day he was elected as Division C governor. This happened because of the belief in this philosophy: “I am the current challenge and the future success.” Later, introduced: Master of ceremonies CTM Sriraman Chari: gave an introduction about toastmasters and Bahrain toastmasters history. VP Education report CC/CL Vilas Deshmukh: read the report of BTC activities and announced the rewards for the various activities winners, contestants and participants for the term ending January-June 2008. The president, chief and key guests participated in distribution of awards. Chief guest Meredith Taghi: inspired the audience with her speech about how toastmasters help people enhance their ‘communicative intelligence’ and gave the anecdote of a quiet person with shining toastmasters’ skills.

Installation Ceremony:

Area 15 Governor ACB/ALB Victoria Cacayan: was the installation officer who proceeded with discharging the old committee and installing the new committee following the procedures set by TMI. New committee as installed are: Sergeant at arms TM Mohamed Abdeen (Stand-In TM Edgard Moussa), Treasurer TM Srilatha Godavarthi, Secretary TM Amal Alaradi, VP PR TM Sayed Fadhil, VP Membership TM Hamza Al-Ghatam, VP Education CC/CL Anil Pachlangia, President CC/CL Vilas Deshmukh. Past Area 15 governor ACG/CL Mohamed Isa presented officers pins to each new officer.
